The 2010 SkillsUSA University is a great opportunity for instructors and students to attend free educational seminars on a variety of topics. SkillsUSA University features the latest trends, new technology and the best career opportunities. Seminars will be held at the Marriott Downtown and Bartle Hall. Sessions are one hour except as noted. Topics include new industry trends and technology, career paths, safety programs, SkillsUSA programs and more. All participants receive a certificate of completion, and many sessions include free handouts, software, curriculum previews and other resources for teachers, students and parents.

Complete newscast planning, scripting writing, video editing instruction, rundown management teleprompter control, graphics management and other newscast production aspects will be thoroughly demonstrated live during the session. This new competition relates to the cinema focused classroom and studio.
